To Download Images You Must:
- Be a registered user.
- Opt-In to receive email announcements informing you when new images are added, nothing more. Your email is never shared
- Accept the following terms of this download agreement.
Personal Use - 99% of visitors only need to read this section
You MAY
- Use downloaded images as wallpaper on your personal computer.
- Share them with your friends and family through email. Does not apply to purchased high resolution image files
- Print them out if it's for your own for personal use and not for distribution either commercial or non-profit.
You MAY NOT
- Post them on public or private ftp sites or newsgroups. If you wish to use them on a web site, read the last section below.
- Distribute them on CD-ROM or other archival media like DVD-ROM, ZIP, JAZ, floppy, or in compressed archives like zip, gz, or tar files or embedded in software.
- Alter them or use elements from them in your own work unless that work is purely personal and will never be transferred to a computer other than the one on which it was created.
Commercial Or Non-Profit Use
If you want to use my images in commercial or non-profit print or mass distribution, please contact me with your requirements and your timeline. I will require a copy, maybe 2, of whatever it is you're distributing if we come to an agreement. Consider all image use requests denied until I personally notify you to the contrary.
Webmasters: Using Downloaded Images On Personal Or Non-Profit Web Sites
Prior permission is NOT REQUIRED to use downloaded images on your personal or non-profit web site if you agree to the following:
- Under no condition will I allow any of my images, except for thumbnails, to be posted without my web site URL watermark. This rule is written in stone. If you see such an image on any web site, I kindly ask you that you let me know for you can be sure it's there without my knowledge.
- Image thumbnails do not require a URL watermark if they are used in conjunction with the larger, watermarked image. Otherwise the thumbnails must link back to my web site.
- Images may be resized but I ask that you do not crop or otherwise modify them. If you do resize an image, the URL watermark must remain legible.
- I would appreciate a link back to my web site from where the image is used although it is not required.
- As a courtesy, I would also appreciate it if you sent me the URL where the image was used so I could check it out.
- If you would like a specially sized image to better fit your page layout, contact me and I'll see what I can do.
Webmasters: Linking To Images And This Web Site
Prior permission is NOT REQUIRED to link to either this web site or its images. However, because images are displayed using dymanically generated pages, their URL may change if images are recategorized, etc. Therefore it is not advisable to link to them directly. If you want to link to any image, use the following URL format:
http://www.VividViews.com/search.php?search_keywords=image_name
where image_name is the name of the image. Here is an example:
http://www.VividViews.com/search.php?search_keywords=125-21
Any use other than what has been described above without my prior permission is expressly forbidden.
